Compatibility

The following systems are officially supported by PhoneBlogz. If you'd like us to interface with the system you use, we will do so, so let me know so I can start work.

Serendipity - plugin

A plugin is available for Serendipity that will allow auto-posting to your blog. More information about the plugin can be found here.

Drupal
PhoneBlogz will post both a message and the MP3 file to your Drupal installation. Ensure that you have enabled the blogapi module and that you've set the blogapi mode to Movable Type (Drupal mode won't work as it won't accept file uploads).

WordPress - direct
PhoneBlogz will post both a message and the MP3 file to your WordPress installation. Note that direct posting will only work with WordPress 2.0.1 and up.

WordPress - plugin
We also have a plugin available for WordPress that will poll PhoneBlogz for new messages. This means you don't have to give out a username/password for PhoneBlogz to post. More information can be found here.

Blogger
Blogger doesn't support file uploads, therefore all MP3 files are stored here at PhoneBlogz and a blog entry placed at Blogger that links to the MP3 file.

Livejournal
Livejournal doesn't support file uploads either, therefore all MP3 files are stored here at PhoneBlogz and a blog entry placed at Livejournal that links to the MP3 file.

FTP Upload
We can upload your MP3 post directly to an FTP server. All we need is the server name, path and a username/password.
